went to recce a cafe for the event with one of my event committees (also my first time meeting her mind you and we clicked INSTANTLY <3) and the guy showing us around was like “do you wanna see our experiential gallery” so we pretty much got free entries to the whole thing

tldr planned on hosting iron lung fan screening event > spent A MONTH speaking to various cinemas and the distributor with no mention of authorization needed > tickets up for sale last saturday > distributor reached out with hostility and told us to shut the event down or they’ll take legal action ❤️
