If you want to live in a society, it means being accountable and responsible not to harm others in the society you value being a part of. Had a long talk with my doctors months ago. Between Lupus and being on immune suppressants therapy the MMR is a no go. I no longer have immunity either. It's a scary place to be now. A damn shame antivax sentiment has spread, causing diseases once eradicated to spread too—like measles, that if caught will wipe out the immune system’s memory of past infections. It’s also causing loss of herd immunity and there are folks who can’t get MMR vaccine. “YOU DO YOU” IS DOING OTHERS IN!

- herpes simplex virus causes cold sores, genital herpes, infections in babies, deadly meningitis
- shingles virus causes an intensely painful disease
