The ONLY way out of this now is for the People, in mass, to rise up as a whole, and take over the capital. Push Trump into hiding & chase him off anytime he shows up. Toss out our current congress & rebuild our nation again.

A game programmer for 20+ years, but my day job is fiber network design. Feel free to talk to me about anything. I am into game development, music, reading and politics. My current games are Factorio (Pyanodon's mod), Far Cry 4 & GemCraft Frostborn Wrath

You want the real reason? The only LEGAL way to remove Trump is by Congress, and they are NOT listening to us. Most of the Dems & all the GOP are getting rich under him.
Trump may be above the law, but the law still applies to us. Going after Trump will be effectively fucking our lives over.
we make our representatives fear the People, more than they fear Trump. Until that happens... Trump is free to do as he pleases.
I wish that were easy. It can only be done by our representatives in Congress (50% to impeach, 60% to remove), and ohhh boy, they stopped listening to us decades ago - even most of the Democrats. They're in office to benefit themselves with power & money.
The ONLY way we get out of this is if ->
And he thinks this war will improve his numbers?
Nobody asked for this war. He made us go in with no plan, no objective, no means to leave.
As an American, I agree with all these things too. Not all of us here are blinded by the media propaganda & Trump's lies.
There's going to be a big rally, coming March 28th. It will probably not be covered by mainstream media. You should find out how big it is (after it happens, of course)
Couple that with the usual gerrymandering & voter disenfranchisement, that's been going on for so long that people don't even try anymore... and you have a president that the People did not pick.
Trump didn't legitimately win the election, though.
After all, how does he win all 7 battleground states - by JUST enough to prevent recounts?
Harris had rallies big enough to fill stadiums. Trump had to pay people to come to his rallies.
Plus there were bomb threats at specific voting locations. ->
And they deserve it
Ok, and do what, though? Throw punches?
That would only get them arrested and be unable to participate in Congress.
No; the violence needs to come from the People, not the representatives on our side
It's not that simple.
In a country where elections are won based on who has more money, candidates go meet donors, not their communities. They work out deals with them for funding & must deliver, or get no funding next election.
We don't REALLY get a say in who our options are.
Impeachment will never happen with our current Congress. We'd need 50% for impeachment, 60% to remove, but the GOP have majority control in both House & Senate.
Nothing is going to change until we make them afraid of the People, more than they are of Trump
And they don't even have enough evidence to prove he did it
Fox News settled that case for hundreds of millions of dollars (I think, I don't know the exact figure). The problem is, over all their lies, they made a profit, even with the fine.
So long as they can profit off the lies, they'll keep telling them.
People can get the word out about them by other means.
That would be nice, but our current representatives will never do that - they're the ones benefiting the most from the status quo.
What we need to do is honor those who won't take donations from AIPAC & corps. They don't need millions to run for office; a website can show their basic info & policies
But see, that is only true if you believe money decides the election results. We don't have to let it be that way.
Last year Musk threw hundreds of millions of dollars at an election, and his candidate still lost. It can be done - we just need candidates who will work for the people, not corps
Most of the Democrats (also) take AIPAC money. There's very few of our representatives who don't.
We are not represented in this country
"If our joysticks wear out more often, we'll make more money by selling them replacements!" - Nintendo, probably
Not that this is only a Nintendo philosophy...
If they decide to draft me, they're not gonna have a good time. I would rather sit in jail than go fight for them; and I won't make that easy on them, either.
If they force me into combat... well, all I'll say is they should have never cut me loose.
They'll be better off leaving me alone
I say we amass a million people and go take over the White House & not leave. It belongs to the People, after all.
When Trump shows up we can run him off, everywhere he goes. He can stay in hiding for all I care. We'll re-generate our government without him - or any of our current representatives
Wait; you're right. It was sold to 343 Industries, not EA.
The real problem is, big businesses don't care about making a game enjoyable. To them, the game is merely a product by which they make money. As long as people keep buying their product, they'll put as little work as necessary into it.
I'd like to agree, but look what they did to Halo.
Games 1, 2 & 3 were stellar. Then the game was sold to EA during the making of 4, resulting in an ok game. Halo 5 was meh, Halo 6 (Infinite) was a huge disappointment; full of bugs & boring.
I don't even know if there will be any more games. ->
This seems quite logical, and explains a lot about why we're going to war in Iran.

And if it's lost all its hype by then... it was never going to be a popular game anyway
I remember a time when a game's biggest advertising effort was a sample of the actual game.
They had a name for it: Shareware.
We should bring that back
Trump will continue doing what he does until he runs out of money
And there's always another grift he can do... if we let him.
With Trump, he'd never read it.
Trump has never experienced war, or the aftermath. The dead bodies. The ruined homes & families. The cities reduced to craters, with no food or water. The injuries that will never heal.
Trump won't care until he experiences this himself.
I would reply and say "Why don't you give us the definition of a woman, so we're working on the same terms"
But really, her objective is to call out Walz for answering it incorrectly. She has no interest in the actual answer; it only serves to belittle Walz. This is all nonsense.
