I binged Rimworld solid for a few days years back. Really enjoyed it. Can't remember why i stopped. It's been about 6 years now and i'd have to relearn how to play it all lol. I'm not sure i have that much spare time anymore :D

These moments are never going to be easy. Yesterday was the anniversary of my dad's passing, tomorrow is a year since I lost my mum, and as much as i'd love to only reflect on the good memories, there is bound to always be sadness too. It's not wrong, it's natural, because we miss them.

Thank you! Generally, day to day, I get on with life as usual, but this time of year I get very reflective. I will be eternally grateful, but I don't think i will ever feel I deserved a second chance at things. Just one of those silly brain things i guess :)

11 years ago today I was lying in a hospital bed having my last dialysis session before prepping for a double transplant. A 9 hour operation overnight, waking up on the 20th with a new kidney + pancreas. Life saving. I still don't know whether to be happy or sad about it all. The guilt weighs heavy.
