vander without silco is in the best case scenario just sort of negligent (look at thim abandoning the cause and also the trouble the kids created on his watch) and weak (sevika’s correct assessment) and in the worst scenario a mindless monster and viktor (tho jinx & vi too in a way) was still like

I think the viktor and vander/warwick relationship was interesting but also I’m looking at it so deep through the lens of viktor as zaundads kid it was like younger siblings bringing the family problem (dad) to the eldest daughter to sort out and talk sense to

and the statue of vander also happened not just bc silco allowed it but probably also planted the seed of the idea of it and the people of the lanes adopted it and carried out the work to realize it

I think vander genuinely believed silco would one day return home and he wasn’t wrong, it even happened during his lifetime bc silco sure took over last drop & the lanes but where was vander(‘s body) all that time..? Not that I know for sure but I’m sure he laid hidden somewhere of silco’s choosing

vander definitely did that when he said "there are worst things out there then enforcers, we both know that" while touching the knife wound he got from silco. I was wondering what exactly he told benzo about the time he got that wound bc it felt like benzo might not know the whole story

and the art isn’t even about him but I realized it could have been what he saw so I hope I’m not too far off from the point…?

True. personally I like zaundads as the general ship name bc I feel like they were always that, even before the actual dilf era: silco’s objective seemed to be for them to become the fathers of the nation of zaun while vander was in it to get to have to raise some anklebiters with silco.

I’ve seen both names used interchangeably and there doesn’t really seem to be a consensus on which one means what exactly (like in some other ships/fandoms where different ship names imply different ship dynamics) 🤔 or maybe I’m stupid too lol 😜

Viktor was really cold and lonely on that floor and Jayce was very comfy in some else’s bed so it’s only fair for him to feel uncomfortable in a fear the possibility of justice delivered zaunstyle

jayce can sit there a moment and think about the time he left viktor lying alone on the lab floor and hope viktor isn’t feeling like telling about that story to his family

Viktor isn’t giving him no mercy going to sit there in the middle, letting Jayce sit on his own right next to Silco

his body might have survived the event but his mind will never fully recover from it

and we‘ll never know if vander outright lied to benzo or omitted enough facts so that he himself didn’t look as monstrous as the narrative reveals him to be

I was suddenly thinking about how benzo was inexplicably angered when he saw silco in ep 3 but then if he didn’t know the whole story it’s very understandable to be mad at a friend’s ex who disappeared, turned out to be a drug dealer and left your bestie with four kids
