The script says something along the lines that Obi-wan looks at Han with suspicion after the parsec line, so the intent was probably that Han was saying obvious BS.

The first movie definitely isn't an allegory for the Vietnam war. There aren't really any specific parallels.
It's reading polarization. Lots of people are reading a lot, maybe even more than they used to. Another lots of people basically don't read at all, probably to a greater extent than in previous decades.
This can be seen at universities with the big drop in assigned reading (anecdotal).
I think it moreso came down to density. Even without advanced societal structures allowing for large well fed armies, there'd be what, 10x as many farmers per sqkm as hunter-gatherers? Huge advantage regardless of how the wars were fought.
When I was a kid 20 years ago, Elvis Presley appeared as a character in one episode of a children's cooking show on Swedish TV, and no doubt most kids watching knew who he was. (Based on my n=1 personal experience)
Yup haha. I'm saying that SGX being broken isn't a catastrophe, cuz shit's already fucked.
Yeah they broke it, but I'm saying even if it wasn't broken, they could just lie about using it because no one ever goes thru the trouble of verifying that the whole processing chain is protected like that.
99.9% of European data being processed in the US wasn't protected to begin with. Almost no one uses these things except in very particular circumstances.
Almost no one in charge of anything seems to care, but we should never process data on servers owned by people we can't trust.
Also, unless you're doing all the remote attestation to ensure that the data was never handled outside of SGX, they could always just choose to not protect it, no need for hardware exploits. A letter from the US gov telling them to stop securing the data and that's that.
Idk what dumb shit American cloud providers have been doing, but yes, definitely should not be handling sensitive data in the US, unless it's end to end encrypted.
If you want to store stuff in the US, you can use actual encryption where the data is encrypted before you send it to a server.
No one trusted these things to begin with. The purpose of TEEs is to run code on other people's computers without those other people being able to know what you're doing. Intel SGX has been broken like a dozen times.
Doesn't really impact anything you're worried about.
Do zoomers say they hate millennials? Zoomers must be really stupid if they're doing that.

On brand for something that erases the slaves from a depiction of the worst slaver society of the ancient world (2/3rds of pop. were slaves!)
Imagine a movie about the antebellum south which portrayed plantation owners as badass, while not showing a single slave.
Lower energy intensity in general or just lower fossil fuel energy intensity?
The prose is horrible. Maybe the story is good. I couldn't tell ya, cuz I couldn't take more than a few pages of that prose.

That's not psycho that's the sensible choice these days
You can tell the first image is fake because Trump doesn't look sickly enough.
Can we have Beto run for something again, I miss him.
It's not just the tattoo. He retweets Nazis. He went on a white nationalist podcast that promotes antiblack and antisemitic conspiracy theories and proclaimed that he's a long time fan.
Also divorced from any non-Marxist analysis.
How about the secret third thing: annoyed that souls don't exist, because it'd be pretty nifty if they did.
I've heard little kids say "like and subscribe" instead of "goodbye" :S
A much smaller number, but similar thing... Klarna decided to approve me for their credit card with a limit of $500, despite the fact that my income has been $0 for a couple of years. A while back they raised it to $700, and just the other day $950.
Are we sure these people aren't LLMs programmed to be maximally annoying
Tbqh yeah. The Viet Cong was completely irrelevant in the last 6 years of the war. It was the actual real proper army of north Vietnam that kicked the US out.
Please reread OP's post carefully.
