- these kids haven’t given up, and they are still proud to be Americans, despite what the opposition would have one believe. these are people who still believe in an America for all people, and a country whose immigrants and diversity make it stronger. Truly warms my cynical heart.

language change is so powerful- I cannot believe I just heard my 80-something year old grandfather use "hashtag" in a context where I was 1000% expecting him to say "pound sign" or similar (i.e. not a context in which it was being used as an actual tag of any kind)

Dude, this is just a shout-out to @jspsych.org and its flexibility - wanted a quick and fun way to practice some vocabulary late last night so took <1hr to build a memory-game plugin that I can scale for practice now!
