OF COURSE the treatment for Layla’s suspected diagnosis (Cushings) is basically not available in the country at the moment because of legal issues with the SA health authority. Just absolutely wonderful. This diagnosis is scary enough without knowing I can’t get meds for her 💔

My boss didn’t see my message asking to work from home today to keep an eye on Layla so I went into the office. He just saw it and came rushing into the office to tell me to go home and asking why I didn’t call. On my way home, but can someone tell my silly brain I am not in trouble?🙃
Realised I didn’t take my adhd meds after leaving for work (and too late to go back)… attempting to be productive today is going to be fun especially with the stress of Layla also distracting me 😅

My dog who’s my everything isn’t well and even my vet who is brilliant and level headed admitted she is panicky. Something is very wrong and we don’t know what. Safe to say I’ll be a wreck for the foreseeable future until we figure this out 😩

One of my higher ups at work came to my desk and asked if I want to take a break and go sit outside with her. I ran through every reason why I could be in trouble in my third week in the 20 seconds it took to walk outside. Turns out she just wanted to know more about me, my hobbies etc 😅
