#BlindDrams Dram 5 - Palate: Good texture once again, hot spice, fruity but drying too; a sort of sweet and spicy number.

#BlindDrams Dram 5 - Nose: Calmer than the last dram, a slight zesty orange pith and dark fruits - blackcurrants

#BlindDrams Dram 4 - Palate: good warming arrival and thick texture. There's a good charred sweetness to this, like BBQ'd chicken with BBQ sauce and it's all caught and caramelised.

#BlindDrams Dram 4 - Nose: Plasticine, dark druits and a slight funk.

#BlindDrams - Dram 3 Palate: Warm arrival albeit thin in texture. Lots of grapes, raspberries and blackcurrants - all very ripe and juicy. There's a touch of drying spice on the finish too.

#BlindDrams Dram 3 - Nose: Now the party's really getting started. This has a lot of ooomph! It's like burnt rubber and clutch plate from doing some dirty donuts in a car park!

Did they ask for a photo copy of your foot print and to take your passport as evidence? Their age verification checks seem to be getting weirder by the day. #BlindDrams

#BlindDrams Dram 2 - Palate: Lime cordial and white pepper. That super drying note from the nose is there in the palate. A nice step up in texture, so maybe in ABV too?

#BlindDrams Dram 2 - Nose: Pencil shavings galore, this is graphite and a very mild background tone of dunnage phunk!

Better late than never.
#BlindDrams Dram 1 - Nose: Strawberry laces and malted milk biscuits .

Palate: Warming arrival, thick and sweet, not huge ABV but a solid starter dram.

Scores: 3

#BlindDrams Tonight was a little Tour de France, exploring Scotch Whisky with a French influence - a celebration of the auld alliance. It was an experiment of sorts, but I hoped you enjoyed it. Either way, merci for taking part and #PardonnezMonFrancais - Santé 🥃

#BlindDrams Dram 5 - Palate: Mega smoke, great texture and warmth. Salty, yet sweet. This is really good!

#BlindDrams Dram 5 - Nose: pencil sharpenings and a slight hint of acetone. There's some definite smoke to this one.

#BlindDrams Dram 4 - Scores on the doors. A solid 4 for me.

#BlindDrams Dram 4 - Palate: Cola bottle sweets, sweet barbecue flavoured crisps. This is my favourite so far, much more up my street!

#BlindDrams Dram 4 - Nose: Oak tannins and old leather galore, this smells fantastic. A good swirl of the glass and there's fat legs that fall slowly.

#BlindDrams Dram 3 - Score 1. Least favourite so far unfortunately.

#BlindDrams Dram 3 - Told you I'd catch you up! The nose on this is giving me, mezcal vibes and a touch of parma violets. On the mouth feel and palate, the ABV feels like much less forward.

#BlindDrams Dram 2: Again lovely long legs clinging to the glass, not youthful like the previous dram. Decent ABV, lots of citrus/orange on the palate. Speed tasting score: 2.

#BlindDrams Dram 1: Spiritful with long looking legs, strong and bold on the palate, not unpleasant though. A solid 2 I think.
