Bad luck. Anyhow, we can see that maybe we're not alone in thinking these Chelsea tractors have no place in a city. I think that's a good place to start.

@liege.bike Aha, you probably won't have seen this, but there's maybe some hopeful news leaking in this morning. Let's cross fingers it comes our way too! www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026...
Amazing, go London, go! Hopefully Brussels will wake up to this same problem which is only growing in Belgium (very recently) - oh, and the EU in general: www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026...
I forgot to put a link so you can see the club: www.jazzstation.be
Anyone interested in helping to save one of the most important jazz clubs in Belgium will be more than appreciated. www.leetchi.com/fr/c/jazz-st...
How did it end? Hopefully ICE, 0 and the People 10?
Is there a screenshot saying 'Is this guy a spinner of yarns?'
Good one Robin. I had the radio on the other day, but the shortwave band was very empty (sorry to say).
Sorry for the #politics (again). Just read the first 4 paragraphs and think of where we are now, and how we got there. π en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohamma...
Sorry for the politics, but here we are with war mongering press coverage distorting the situation. How did we get here again? Luckily, @doubledown.news has it's regular updates to help straighten out the facts, so we can see through the smoke and mirrors. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BlX...
This piece (composed 25 years ago) was certainly well ahead of its time, as was all Eliane Radigue's work. I wonder if the likes of Fennesz, Tim Hecker, Ben Frost and Co were listening in back then? elianeradigue.bandcamp.com/album/l-le-r...
Great way to finish the evening.
In recognition of Γliane Radigue's death, the recent themed double issue in Contemporary Music Review is now available in free access. (It says 'variable access', but that's because some articles are open essays anyway.) www.tandfonline.com/toc/gcmr20/4...
I see your point, and personally I wouldn't touch the war with a barge-pole. However, as the alt media (ex: LBC) points out, some newspapers have either less scruples or simply enjoy trading on the opacity of the situation (as it is). I hope that makes sense?
I think that depends on the news channel(s) you're following.
Looks a good choice (the box of CDs)
Nice, thanks (I'm in the EU, though).
In my case, yes. Although at 65 I'm not (nowadays) really old - as yet.
Bingo, similar problems here, but in the knee.
Morning, Dave. Painkillers?
My daughter and I are still keen fans of second hand Pros since they're so much cheaper, and work fine. I think my daughter's is a 2022 model. Mac needs to rein in the greed factor and they'd sell even more. There's no need for the 1,900β¬ tag, it's completely ridiculous.
Sorry, I didn't see the original, just the follow ups. I have to say, I'd rather Mac reduced the price of their Pro line, rather than add cheap models to attract schools. Comparatively, MB Pros have become much more expensive than before. I'm still using a 2015 model, it still works perfectly.
I'd be curious to know where you'd find a new Macbook for β¬515? I guess you're talking about the Neo which is 616β¬ in the EU?
Yeeehh!
Two days to go... New LP from me and @joehigham.bsky.social, based on his 2025 composition "Ghost Too", which he performed last June at Belgian Modular Day III...
Just back from work, so it seems as good a time of day as any to blow my own trumpet (as one has to, now and again π): on.soundcloud.com/eG9H9VFQ1qYP...

Maybe they could ban e-lon musk, too?
