There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of by your generative AI chat bot.
For sure, that's how I read it, was just adding in my own experience for colour also.
Agree.
Hello. I spoke to the lovely people at @qxmagazine.bsky.social about growing up queer, the impact that has on my writing, and on how we all sometimes feel like we're from elsewhere.
I'd love for you to read.

And that's a personal choice I was happy to make - but I can see why people don't in the face of loss of earnings.
I hate that this is how we have to make decisions.
@doop.bsky.social @clusterblock.bsky.social I used substack for a while, until people told me about why that was an issue. At that point people have a choice whether to stay or go.
I chose to leave, but no other platform has the reach or discoverability, so I lost that stream of income.
Honestly sounds like the opening line of a song by some mad internet person. Oh.
Walked into my local cheese shop and the person behind the counter said βwell you look windswept and interesting!β
And mostly Iβm just happy that thatβs a sentence I actually get to use in my everyday life.
Always a good sign when a CEO gets replaced with a VC.
βBig tech companies artificially inflate datacentre job creation and economic impact to please governments, which are desperate to claim they are making the economy grow.β

This is what happens when you build a government on buzzwords.
Musing on my blog about life, writing, hacking, art, and why we might maybe perhaps be at the very start of a new renaissance.

Iβve got a bottle of oil in my kitchen that Iβll gladly sell to you for $300.

I think I've spent the last five years switching from one blog platform to another so that my brain feels like it's able to control something in an increasingly out-of-control world.
This realisation does not help me pick one and stick with it.
I'm not sure why I'm using Ghost to host my blog and email it to people when I could just use my website and email posts to people who want it.
I guess it's useful for me not having to be the data handler?
But since only 25 people get my blog posts by email...
Iβm thinking a lot about hope this evening.
Hope is so powerful.
And hardest to find when we need it the most.
I love you. Hold on.
Appreciate it though! I am increasingly thinking of the switch. To EE I mean, not google.
You're only allowed to sniff my packets if you ask nicely, and buy me a sandwich after.
Appreciate the info! However, I won't use a connection that sniffs my traffic for what website or API calls I'm making - or that won't work with a VPN for the same reason - apologies for not being able to use your referral!
Is there a version of this that isn't on Google?
(unrelated: I miss CellNet)
UK friends - am thinking of switching from Three to EE for better coverage. Would anyone advise against or for this change, for various reasons I'm sure I don't know?
I ask this because I am almost certain I know many cell/net enthusiasts.
I've used that in my statement of wishes π
After seeking legal advice, I am pleased to share the news that you are genuinely allowed to start your legal last will and testament with the words "here we fucking go".

Today "Gorton and Denton" is spelled H-O-P-E.
Just seen the news about Rob Grant. The impact his writing - for screen and in print - had on both my youth and my writing style is huge.
Let's hope Holly knows where his personality disk is stored, in case we can ever sustain him as a hologram.
Is it really an energy price "cap" if you keep changing it?
I did the same not so long ago
