Sandy Nurse is a powerhouse progressive on the City Council. Can’t wait to work with her at the state level to deliver affordability for our neighboring communities in Brooklyn & Queens. As a champion for the working people of NYC, I’m grateful for her support!

Great weekend of petitioning! Energizing to meet people on the street excited about our campaign to bring a champion of universal programs and taxing the rich to Albany. 🌹

Honored to be invited to iftar with @sandynurse.bsky.social and the City Line Bangladeshi Community, our AD38 neighbors. Their words of peace give me hope in this reprehensible war with Iran. We need leaders like Sandy who choose to invest in our communities rather than war abroad. 🕊️❤️

Images follow of a column of bills: $5, $50, $150, $250 each with arrows labeled $60 matched, $600 matched, $1500 matched and $2300 matched. The 3rd column shows piles of money showing the totals from each match: $65, $650, $1650, and $2550.

As we see the horror of events in Iran, we’re building an anti-war movement at home. We need leaders who invest in our neighbors, not destruction abroad.

Whether at Jummah in Woodhaven or canvassing in Ridgewood and Ozone Park, our solidarity is building a more just world.

It’s always a fine day to talk to our neighbors in Ridgewood — and BEFORE a snow storm this time! Our canvassers came out to build a better future for AD38, and while a little (maybe a lot) more snow will keep us indoors for a bit, it won’t be for long. Until then, stay safe, prepared and warm!
