Sometimes it’s brilliant and sometimes it makes the worst mistakes. Also I make mistakes too when specifying and it’s just too eager to go with whatever I give it. I know the codebase will become a mess if I avert my eyes for two seconds.

I leaned heavily on LLMs for writing Nix derivations, and for bouncing ideas. It helped for a while

Love this framing! “I can do it faster” but the point was never being fast. “An agent can do it faster” is the same equation. We want to share knowledge, train and empower others, build relationships. We can’t afford to lose these.

I just backed ABIDE, an indie game with handmade dolls and stop motion animation.

It was fun while our craft and industry requirements briefly aligned.

This industry and productivity game sucked out the craft and fun of making software. It’s why everything’s so buggy now. And AI is the endgame.
