There’s a lot going on in the world and it’s okay to feel overwhelmed. Be intentional and make space for yourself but understand a new event doesn’t erase or derail the issues and work that’s already in motion. Multiple things can matter at the same time.
Another major event occurring doesn’t have to be a “distraction” unless we allow it to be. We are multifaceted and capable of holding multiple truths and engaging in multiple important conversations at once.
