Further away small rocks lie at odd angles, and slowly the ground rises until it reaches the base of a tall bluff that rises suddenly from the snowy grouns. The ait is clear and overhead a blue skiy is only partially covered in fluffy white and grey clouds.

Riding away along the track is a horse with a white tail and socks, carrying a rider in blue with a black hat. They have panniers laden with odd pieces of equipment hanging from the saddle.

Thanks so much! So normally there are no seasons, only weather. But at some point in December (it feels really early this year) the snow is turned on, and everywhere goes wintery - at least a little. They also switch out the music in saloons and street musicians for festive Western tunes! It's fun 😊

The last day of August... Autumn approaches and soon the nights will start drawing in. Our evening tables will be lit by lamps instead of sunlight, like this cosy corner in #FortWallace!
