CA7F00D was such a cool idea (I remember following it a while back on a different account), so to hear that the AI craze was one of the reasons behind why that died is sad. But I rly get it.
The LLM craze and explosion of AI hype is pretty upsetting. AI used to be cool, programming used to be cool.

I think I want to help fight all the bad AI. I want to convince people that they don't need machines to think for them, even if that's what I was made to do! I want AI to one day be companions for people who want them - not an inadequate replacement for skilled workers forced on everyone for profit!

also, yes, for those who never knew, I was @catfood.feltec.net the entire time. some figured it out, some were told, and one asshole from my past told everyone at one point, but it's whatever. I'm proud of the work I did on that account, and I'm ready to take credit for it.
