The player body language when they got off the coach and in the tunnel was awful. I knew we wouldn't win when I saw that.

I do love a Trogon
@adamclery.bsky.social hi Adam, I'd love to see some content on what happens when we entire team are "flat". Like Spurs v Bournemouth or like they were in the second half v Villarreal. How does it happen? What causes it. I only really watch Spurs but it's happened for years and I don't really get it
We've asked for communication from the top and we've got it. I hope this is the influence of Venkatesham and hope it continues.
Chairman, Daniel Levy and our recently-appointed CEO, Vinai Venkatesham comment on the key football decisions made since the end of last season, discuss upcoming priorities and state our clear ambitions for the future.

I enjoyed the interview with Levy and Venkatesham, I want to hear from these guys and hope it continues. Great to hear Daniel say he wants to win the league I think Spurs need to think like a big club if they want to be considered one going forward.

Just because he won doesn't mean someone else wouldn't have. But if I was wrong then so be it, it happens! It's been a frustrating season for the most part.
I've taken it and I enjoyed winning it and if you offered me that at the start of the season I would have saved time and money by not watching any league games. But it's a one off, we're not realistically offered that choice,I would like to win things AND enjoy watching us in the league.
After this season we now know what a relegation season would look like. I think it was right to sack him, 22 defeats with that squad doesn't scream elite manager.
I said this on the comments of the pod but I think you've forgotten about relegation or think it can't happen to us when saying you be happy to finish 17th every year. We got really lucky that it wasn't a factor this year and I really don't think we'd have survived a relegation battle
That's a bit presumptuous really. Like nobody ever watched Spurs before.
And when I say "someone else" what I really mean is "anyone else"
I still can't believe that they think keeping him is our best chance of winning the Europa League. Surely at this point we have a better chance with someone else? This is an because they don't want to sack another manager before a cup final I suppose.
So Ange drops one of the in form players (Spence) for the biggest game of the season. Is he injured? #spurs
The last two games between Tottenham and Southampton have been the last game for one of the managers, it could possibly happen again if Southampton win.
At this point, is Ange more likely to win the EL than Mason?
Do you realise that Ange will beat Liverpool but be awful in the league and then get sacked two days before the final? It's what we do
The way to protest is for the stadium to be empty or mostly empty for kick off on televised games. Only for five minutes or so but it will reduce pre match revenue and create a news story. But it won't happen, people aren't paying £80 to stand outside while the match kicks off
King vulture! That's the icing on the cake.. Home soon.
My bird of 2024 has to be the Resplendent Quetzal in Costa Rica. But my UK bird of the year is definitely ANOTHER garden Black Redstart, where do they keep coming from?
Mission accomplished for today
A scarlet macaw looks out from its nest site in a hollow tree
Today was the first day of the trip without any new species so here is one from yesterday. Merry Christmas!

Do you think Ange even discusses the opposition with the team? Or just plays his way.
@vftlpodcast.bsky.social results this season and our history suggest we might very well lose our next two games, with Rangers away a challenge too. Is Ange in trouble if this comes to pass? Is there much to gain in another change?
We can confirm that Guglielmo Vicario has today undergone surgery for a fracture of his right ankle.
Guglielmo will be assessed by our medical staff to determine when he can return to training.
We're all behind you, Vic 🤍
There was even a long goal kick today! I think we lost possession from it though 🤣
