Sunder The Sky is INTENDED to be a standalone - however, given that I've included multiple beloved characters of mine who could easily carry their own story, I feel it's inevitable it'll spawn at least several side stories. It's also going to be a fully illustrated novel because I have no chill

I use CSP so I do use its 3d models, but I kinda prefer the 'bot' models on PoseMyArt because the anatomy is much 'looser'. I find that if I work too closely from a CSP model I lose the exaggerations in my own style, so working from a less anatomically accurate model kinda... mitigates that??

Throwing this out there for anyone who likes to work from 3D models - I've recently been using PoseMyArt and it's great. I'm just using the free version but it's been enough to set up basic poses and it has a big gallery of existing ones

Oh I forgot, also I was thinking of maybe adding extra outfits as an add-on. I have a Sydni ref sheet in progress with two outfits so thought I'd throw that out there

I only have one example on there currently, which I know is affecting my visibility, and I really want to have more - I have some OC ref sheets in progress but I'd like to tailor them so they can also work as examples.

Add-on ideas so far: full render colouring, extra props, extra character art

I'm thinking of revamping my reference sheet commission listing on VGen for clarity, and wanted some opinions. Currently I offer for the base price: 1 fullbody, 1 bust (both flat colour), 2 props, colour swatches, text bio.

When ordering a ref sheet, what do you specifically like to have on it?

Fun fact: I have arachnophobia and I spooked myself with that spider, so I'm calling it a success 😆

Also I'm hoping that mentioning it in the alt text will be enough to keep it off the timeline of anyone who has the word muted, but let me know if it doesn't work

The reason I didn't know about aro/ace people existing was simply because I simply wasn't very online then, not anything intentional, but this also goes some way to showing what happens when you restrict information from teens figuring themselves out. The feelings don't go away! They get worse!!

You can tell reading it that I believed every character had to be paired off with someone to be somehow valid, and knowing with hindsight that at that point I was going through a phase of having no idea aromanticism existed and thinking there was something wrong with me, I sure was projecting!!

I found the printed copy of my 2010 NaNoWriMo novel, and BOY I hadn't anticipated how vast the difference would be between my writing of 16 years ago and my writing now, based mostly on the fact that 2010 Bex believed they 1. were a straight woman and 2. thought every story had to have romance
