I never understood that take. The Beatles may not be someone’s type of music and I understand that but denying their impact and saying they are overrated makes no sense to me. They are a huge impact to so much music that followed.

There was a good show around that album “Other Voices, Other Rooms” that I remember too. That album and Steve Earle’s “Train a Comin’” were the two albums that really got me headed into Americana in the mid 90’s.
