People talking about finances with elementary school terms like "skill issue" are unserious people.
I'm seeing this after scrolling down a few posts from a video interviewing a DOGE employee(?) and why he cut tons of funding, totally flippant. Here in the U.S. it feels like the people I know are also ringing alarms or have their head in the sand about it all. It's nice to see we're not crazy.
My mom was like the arbiter of family knowledge on top of so many other things. When we lost her the hole she left behind was so massive. Hope you are all figuring it out, even if it takes some time.
The point is to make any reasonable person hate it here. Just destroy the morale of the voters so that we all roll over. I can say it is definitely working in making me lose faith in our species.
I cannot even begin to fathom the levels of hatred we see from our (Christ based) nation.
Who designates who can use violence & on whom? Living in such a fortunate nation that has such access to the resources we have, are we doomed to have insane and sadistic groups take control & steer the vessel?
We have so much at our disposal in the U.S. but we also have access to the worst people.
You gotta understand. I come from the days of video game magazines & commercials that would show you the fastest hyperreal of clips, leaving your imagination swimming with ideas. So my wishlists are out of control but it's mostly because I see something cool looking and I want to circle back. Sorry.

Wanting to hear a song from an old internet video had me reading up on this factoid. The video games industry pushing people to quit and explore life is just a part in the circle of life.

But then I also saw Gearbox as the publisher of the Hyper Light Drifter sequel and just knowing how toxic and terrible Randy is gave me further questions about the Management of Heart Machine. That and the mention of laying off devs before early access was exited and 😬 Hope the news is better now!
This led me down a rabbit hole since I haven't followed the studio much since Solar Ash. I guess my interest was in what kind of struggles an indie studio needs to go union. I'm a total ignoramus but it seems like if you have a small team it should be easy?
