i hope there's a fair mix of "this should do something, but we can't figure it out," "this is the weirdest flashlight i've ever seen," "this weapon-thing is totally awesome and i never want to touch a pulse rifle again," and "the void has looked deep within me, and i must go insane now."
still, you can't have a scientist in your group of PCs for too long before the grumbling starts that they never find any artifacts that they can pick up and use for something. so, here we go.
there seems to be a line in the setting between humans, who are always carrying around loads of junk to detect things, fix things, and shoot things, and engineers, who pretty much don't. besides that flute.

i've killed a bug which was preventing the Town Generator from working properly in Chromium-based browsers. thanks to everyone who reported it. onward!
i'm trying to get into the mindset that no change is too small to talk about, in an effort to post more often. this week, marco wanted to be able to use the town generator <https://donjon.bin.sh/fantasy/town/> to produce clean maps, without labels. so now there's a checkbox for that.
saw someone who works at paradox share some job postings on linkedin and in the comments someone posted an article about what happened to HBS and the response makes it clear to me that internally everyone at paradox was lied to about what happened, so thats cool
