Narcissus pseudonarcissus is having an excellent year in the Golden Triangle. & isn't it far better for our road verges to be rich in native plants like this rather than planted up with cultivars? #wildflowerhour

Some Nortern Marsh hybrids. The first could be x D. incarnata pulchella - RB says it looks quite persuasive while regarding it as one of the most difficult to id.then 2 x Heath spotted & 1 x Frog. @ukorchids.bsky.social
A couple of Epipactis atrorubens from Durness for #HelleborineChallenge & #WildflowerHour plus the delightful tiny(1") endemic Primula scotica & Purple oxytropis, both extremely local & rare.
I know, fabulous isn't it? & the frogs were often larger than the twayblades! A superb site with 2 Gymnadenias, N. marsh, Grass of parnassus, Field gentian, Moonwort & so much more.
