It's killing me. Last one and they are blowing it
I can't take much more. Say it ain't so.
False spring here in Kentucky as we went from single digits to mid 60s. It's a cruel mind game because a cold snap almost always happens. Death to false spring.
The left tried for decades to pass green energy subsidies, passed them, the subsidies worked, and now literally the entire planet's electricity grid is going to convert to solar+battery. It just doesn't feel like "tech" because it mostly produces kinda boring blue collar jobs instead of billionaires
False spring is cruel

Quiet the documentary
I'd like to add that like in all industries, when we stop understanding how our tools work, we become entirely dependent on the corporate entities that own the mold. We are trading the ability to build and repair for the convenience of being permanent tenants in someone else's infrastructure/subs.
My house is also like 85 years old. An old friend who's a contractor looked at it and said.. old plaster breaks down. Shrugged and cut it out
I had a crack appear in my wall near the floor and I worried it was the foundation for like a year. I checked on it probably 3 or 4 times a day and would go down Internet rabbit holes. Finally had someone come out and it was because it had old plaster walls. They put drywall in

Wake up. Make breakfast. Do email. Watch a murder. Go to a party for a 5 year old. Laugh with my daughter. See a different angle of that murder. Hear govt officials slander the victim. Play Barbies with my kid. Feed her dinner. Tear up at that victim reading last honors to a vet. Put kid to bed. USA

I think we’ve got better and more culturally-varied street food than I could have imagined, cool jackets galore, and drugs that make us think we’re really fast and strong before they kill us.

The wisdom of Mr. Rogers is eternal:
That's how you teach a baby to drive.

My studio full of books and movie masks/props
TFW you suddenly realize you unconsciously shaped your studio after Forrest J, Ackerman’s one you fell in love with when you saw it the first time inside those comics and horror magazines you read as a kid 😆😁 (my studio is in the last pic 😄)

The year is 2025. I am in a bookstore buying a hacker zine that I've been reading for 25 years. @2600.com
I hope they keep the old timey Gatlinburg vibe.
