It’s also really fun to be able to say to my friends “can you guys help me with trades”? I remember not being able to do that on the emulators when I first played tho I’m sure it’s possible now
Me personally, I hope enough people are buying it that they use it as motivation to release the others. Not sure how they’d do the DS games tho tbh.
Now it’s not just emulate OR pay a crazy amount get JUST the physical copy, not to mention a gameboy (I have one, but it seems like it crapped out on me).
Back when we would emulate on our phones (iPhone) the emulators we used used to always get nuked, so that’s probably why I stopped bothering.
TBH I do understand people saying it shouldn’t be $20 and that you can just emulate, but I really hope this means they release more of their older titles on switch as well. But I also understand people who don’t want to emulate and would rather have bought the actual game.
I’m actually really happy they released FireRed/LeafGreen for Switch. Replaying it brings me back (I think I first played it in middle/high school like 10 years ago). It’s not perfect, but it’s just so charming. I really do love it even if it annoys me sometimes (caves, HMs, etc).
The only Resident Evil games that really scared me first time playing were 7 and Requiem.
I did 2nd run for Claire and got spooked and now I’m doing a hardcore playthru w/ Leon and Mr X and lickers are 10000x scarier 😭
Tbh, I think it’s the ink ribbons as well as the harder difficulty

I got 37/49 achievements for requiem and I’d be tempted to 100% if it wasn’t for that complete in under 4 hrs one 💀
Requiem was amazing. It was a perfect blend of all of the previous games (at least mainline). Gameplay was fun, it looked great, minus some frame drops when playing as Leon). They did a really good job balancing horror and action w/ the dual protagonists
I’m really liking how requiem feels like a culmination of the previous games (at least so far)
Why the hell did I do classic mode 💀it’s fine a challenge is okay
One of the Pokémon starters is a Pomeranian and I have a Pomeranian… don’t try and tempt me… (I don’t even have a switch 2)
I should probably catch up to the star rail story at some point, I only play to wish for characters and build them atp… I’d probably just steamroll all the enemies

I like the Yankees and Giants. I had the misfortune of being at a Yankee game he decided to go to (albeit, in 9/11, but that kinda just felt like an excuse for him to go). And he just HAD to put his 2 cents into the Giants next coaching hire (who was then asked about it) SO ANNOYING
I think the most annoying this ab that annoying person calling the hockey team is that it’s just his way of infecting himself into every aspect of people’s lives. I didn’t watch the Olympics, but he’s done with other sports too (especially MY teams). The players feigning apolitical-ness is so lame
RE9 is just a few days away, I’m gonna be playing it after work Friday and streaming for friends. I’m excited but not as hyped as I was but I’m sure I will be
Smell something + sore throat = “wow I must have mold or something” (room drier than a desert)
I also irritated my throat cleaning and there must be excess dust that hasn’t settled yet bc my throat is sore too and it’s not helping me feel less insane
I think I’m hypersensitive to musty smells or something because what do you mean no one else can smell it? And it’s only in my room… I know I’m not crazy
