The Democratic strategy for human rights these days is "wait until we already have the public's support" which will never happen because Dem leaders refuse to make the case.

What pisses me off the most is that part of why Democrats lost in 2024 is their actions did not match their words. It doesn't matter if they say he is an existential threat when they refused to prosecute him for thousands of crimes, refused to rebalance the SCOTUS, refused to fix anything he broke.

I love how much of it has that yellow tone because the model got poisoned and the weak willed knuckle draggers using it can't fix it and even if they could they don't care that everything they "make" looks like shit.

Atlantic Canada is absolutely gorgeous and a place I'd love to visit if they weren't one of the front lines for legislative transphobia. Visiting Canada and just sticking to big cities is missing the point and even then, isn't going to protect you from bigotry because there is plenty in the cities.

Canada is full of places of breathtaking natural beauty and the shitty people that live there. BC barely avoided electing the most extreme right wing government in Canada.

My mom lives in the Vancouver metro area. Her MLA voted to revoke the Human Rights Code. Bigotry is everywhere in Canada.
