yes! as of december. it used to be that you had to be a first-gen descendant but that was struck down as unconstitutional. if you can prove you have one canadian ancestor, period, you are a citizen
yeah as of a few months ago, they declared the first-generation-only requirement unconstitutional so if you can prove you have a canadian ancestor then congrats you are a citizen!
probably never a bad time to send out a periodic psa that if you have one ancestor, no matter how far back, who was canadian, you will be granted citizenship as long as you can prove it via docs

A sizeable tax refund can be a big deal as to someone who lives paycheque-to-paycheque and budgets accordingly, so telling them "you shouldn't be happy about getting a refund, that's an interest-free loan to the government" is a really out of touch thing to do

today i went to pick up the 7th tub i ordered over the phone a few days ago and the flavour had already been removed cause it's only sold in february and they ran out. i am fairly certain this is my fault
i have purchased seven half-gallon tubs of baskin robbins' love potion flavour this month. i don't care that it's february in canada

when this happened i had zero recollection whatsoever of ever typing these things and upon later inspection had no record of ever using them as a screen name in anything, im still confused to this day
