Yay! Just followed you back :)
Yay! Just followed you back :)
Oh, to me? Nothing big, yet. The responses just started getting a little sideways from so many faceless profiles. It seemed pretty clear that the bot swarm is in full effect and we know Meta really doesn’t care about that right now. I didn’t leave Twitter to land in another bot pit lol
Miller is the real puppet master. I really don’t know why everyone is calling Trump TACO which it’s really TATO - Trump Always Takes Orders 🥔
🤦🏼♀️
So, threads got real weird, real fast. Blue Sky time. I’d love to connect with progressive folks in #SantaFe, though, hey 👋
Yeah seems like it’s back to the olllll hashtag haha. Well, I’m here, now. The twitter turds have made it to Threads in swarms.
I’m glad I’m not the only one. I find it tough to want to spend time here bc it feels like engagement is a challenge compared to Threads. I hate that Threads is owned by Meta lol. They do have quite an advantage!
Ohhh this is stellar
So, starting over on Bluesky. Any tips on how to really get the engine going again? I have had so many good and fast friendships on Threads and Instagram, but this feels like a tougher nut to crack to find those kinds of connections again, here.
There wasn’t, but LA found compassion among our community and it’s been beautiful to witness ❤️
I hate thinking about what people in other states are saying about the LA fires right now. I hope there’s a more compassionate response than I expect.
Smoke inhalation — even for seconds - can impair consciousness.
To anyone in the immediate vicinity of this unprecedented fire in the nations most populous county, urgently heed the evacuation orders NOW.
Smoke is as dangerous as the flames behind them.
Hey Bluesky, connect me with people who want to swap road trip stories and travel diaries, talk about personal growth and healing (but not the kind involving selling or buying something from an MLM or TikTok store lol), give a shit about people and the planet, ethical fashionistas, and nice people.
Feels like Zuck just officially entered his villain era. He’s not pretending anymore, eh?
Strongly recommend getting outside or even going for a drive when politics get to you, if you can. Not in the “have you tried yoga” way, but as a reminder that this country has a lot of beauty, and nature moves forward even as man tries to put it down. Surely, we can, too. 📸 Inside the Grand Canyon
…stay gone, but I have this overpriced apartment to pay for, so I’ll be back in January. The current plan is to sell off most of my things and move to Santa Fe in the Spring, though. Grief and travels changed me and I just can’t step back into my old life anymore.
…I’m working remotely for an LGBTQ+ nonprofit and I’ve been documenting the ups and downs of this road trip on Threads. Not styling and just being a person has been healing. I am so tired of my job being my identity. It’s going to be hard to go back to LA, where my rent just went up. I’d like to…
Hey, I’m new here, let me get you up to speed. I’m about 3/4 of the way into a 2.5 month road trip that went completely offtrack when my car broke down in NM. When I left home in LA, I was a celebrity wardrobe stylist grieving the recent loss of both my dad and my recent relationship. Now…
A visual understanding of exactly where/when my road trip went off the rails after my car broke down in the middle of nowhere. The strike through shows up everywhere I didn’t end up going lol
Hey Bluesky, allow myself to introduce…myself. For the past decade, I’ve been a stylist in LA dressing people of all sizes, while also keeping a marketing/branding day job. Right now though, I’m on a 2+ month road trip that has not at all gone as planned. I’ll be sharing my road stories here.
