yep! that makes it even more puzzling to me, its sooooo easy to implement
crucial for communities where you cannot reasonably communicate which timezones you meant etc but I would soooooo love to have this in all my apps
on discord you can use special timestamp syntax like this hammertime.cyou/en and they will render in the readers local timezone!
infuriating to me that not all chat-y apps have stolen discords timestamps :( such an obviously good idea

Just got a call from the doctor's office after I cancelled an appointment. After a minute or so of normal-ish conversation (I moved neighbourhood, so no I don't want to reschedule etc) I detected something very slightly askew in her mannerisms, and she didn't seem to be fully understanding me.
went through some mandatory security training a while back and while on the whole pretty boring they had one exercise where you had to call an AI phone scam extortion thingy, and dude that was really scary
okay it also has an insanely punchable face, maybe not the best friend for strolling around town
I unfortunately think the best friend shaped computers is this, too bad its a harbinger of the panopticon :/
i do think its self-centeredness and aggrandizement that’s been plaguing our industry forever
