That's a wrap on our 'Lohengrin' at Staatsoper Unter den Linden! It's always a comfort coming home to the beautiful character of Elsa. She and I are very good friends 💗 We will meet again next season in Philadelphia with the Philadelphia Orchestra and Yannick Nezet-Seguin! 🥰

Happy 100th Birthday, 'Wozzeck'! Yesterday was the 100th anniversary to the day of the premiere of Alban Berg's 'Wozzeck', which would eventually become a landmark for contemporary opera and opera history.
It was a challenge, but I loved getting to sing Marie at the Met during the 2019-20 season
What amazing news!! The NY Times voted our 'Salome' at the Met as one of their 2025 Best Classical Performances! This is a huge honor and I am grateful to share this recognition with all my castmates 💗

The rush I feel each time I reach this moment in the opera is indescribable. After endless suffering, Sieglinde finally sees a light at the end of her tunnel! You can hear in the orchestra alone what a turn Sieglinde's destiny has taken 💗

Happy World Opera Day!
The sensation that comes over us when we hear something really inspiring and beautiful sung by a human voice- it has a visceral effect on our nervous system. And I think that makes World Opera Day worth celebrating. 💗
Sieglinde and I are spending lots of time together this season: Here in Paris during the month of November, at La Scala in March, and at the Bayreuth Festival next summer! The more time we spend together, the more I discover about her and the closer I feel to her 💗
