I am trying to use Discord and it feels so intimidating. It's this big stream of consciousness and it's hard to keep up with. It's not like the old forums where you can reply to topics. If you weren't online when the conversation was happening, you are out.
This is brilliant. I'd also add a need for headshots as I can't tell you how many times I've approached a table at a comic con to talk to or compliment a creator only to find I'm talking to their sibling or significant other.

I haven't read any Stephen King books in a bit and just started in on 'Salem's Lot for the first time. It's amazing how he provides all these little details about the townspeople. In other hands, it might feel drab or needless, however there's this dread hanging over them and I'm fascinated.
