A 1980 photo of Jimmy Carter surrounded by women who helped contribute to women's history month
I am looking to find out the names of the women in this 1980 photo with Jimmy Carter. They helped contribute to the creation of women's history week. Can anyone help me identify these women? 🗃️

So I'm working on a campaign to get College Board approval for a Women's AP US History class (www.wapush.org/about) and we need letters of support from relevant department heads from 100 unis. I've had multiple academics decline because they don't like AP classes🧵
Really looking forward to working with you on this project!
No I am not. Thanks for letting me know about it!

Still thinking about the amazing talk at #NCSS2024 last night by @hcrichardson.bsky.social. Love how she teaches how “somebody always does things, they don’t just happen” and “talking about the past is a bedrock”—such good lines to use in APUSH 🗺️
