Baloney. FBI making stuff up in a desperate ploy to find some justification for all this.

The object was for him to learn how to implement the API. I don't really care how & I didn't care if the code wasn't fully functional. But using the AI didn't get it done.

You seemed to indicate as long as the AI code is good you're satisfied. I have to disagree with that.

I gave an assignment to an understudy to teach him an API. He used AI for it, ok but incomplete. Now I asked him to apply it for real, AI sent him down a rabbit hole and I had to explain (again) the most basic part of it. Why do I need him at all? I do know how to ask an LLM for code you know.

So is that 9 wars or 10 wars that he's ended, after he gives up on this one?/

I think they need larger shoes to hide the lifts.

There's already a pipeline from Abu Dhabi to the port of Fujairah but the capacity is only 1.5 million bpd.

It would cost up to a billion dollars to build a pipeline from Dubai to Fujairah, bypassing the closed Strait of Hormuz. About one day's worth of Trump's war.

No, I don't think so. We've been indoctrinated for generations to view the US in a certain light and I don't expect most people to challenge their own ingrained perspectives.

Well, if some of those fired agents hold a grudge and have become radicalized, they might be a greater threat than Iranian terrorists. They have the training after all and good reason to hate the government.

Are we reaching the point where we have to admit that China is more responsible as a world leader than the USA? US military expansion and destabilizing threats have by now surpassed anything we could criticize China for.

There are limitations even on sovereign immunity, so even the most generous interpretation can't grant absolute immunity to ICE agents.

Not just foreseeable. Obvious, documented, gamed out in Pentagon plans. The only way it "wasn't foreseen" is if some dumbass in charge thought he was smarter than all the generals and disregarded everything he was told.

The BEST achievement in computer science is enabling us all to own these pocket computers with incredible capabilities.

Brain dead user interface designs. And my pet peeve: you can't just turn something on and use it any more. You have to wait ... Those stolen seconds and minutes add up over a lifetime.

He's still covering, insisting that the bombing of school girls was unintentional.

Prison is only the beginning. We'd like to see him in prison, penniless and stripped of health care and protection, cut off and universally mocked and despised.

Clinton was criticized for meeting Lynch only because he was being investigated. DOJ IS part of the Executive branch. Of course administrations interact with the DOJ, while generally avoiding interfering with investigations.

โ‰๏ธTrump was just recently telling everyone that the Strait of Hormuz was perfectly safe for shipping, but US warships are afraid to pass through?

He may be a compulsive liar but at least he's a dumbass about it. Doesn't know that only UK and Australia have any Tomahawks at all ๐Ÿคช

My fondest hope when Biden selected Harris was, "well maybe Biden will task her with keeping an eye on Justice". But he had no intention to do anything of the sort. A pox on both of them.

Stuck is better than regressing. Until Republicans are driven from power and Democrats elect capable leaders, "nothing" is the best we can hope for.

His hotel properties. I'd love to see drones crop-dusting his golf courses with agent orange but I doubt they're set up for that.

As lies go, that's not even a remotely plausible one. Unless ... this Husted guy is a Republican who thinks "young lady" about the 11 year old he's chatting up in the grocery store.

It's more effective that people think it than for me to say it. If that's your first, strongest reaction then you can be certain that most people are sharing that thought.

I only hope that you're right and Trump will settle for some pathetic lie to salve his ego. But Iran will now forever seek our destruction.

Trump's latest tweets clear things up a little. He thinks that Iran will give up, and the US (or Trump personally) will own Iran.

That's not going to happen for a decade, if ever. At this spend rate we'll be a bankrupt third world country by then. He has to be stopped!

US Generals have proven beyond all doubt that they cannot be trusted to obey the law. They do not act in the interest of Americans, and therefore should be ruthlessly culled from our armed forces.

Why put an economist in charge of the CDC?

As if we care. Republicans don't pass anything unless it enriches the 1% or decimates rights, liberties or protections. He won't sign anything anyway unless it benefits him personally. We'll live just fine without him signing legislation.
