I think anyone who has met someone wildly eccentric has experienced a degree of discomfort, fear, and/or amusement. Eccentrics scare me out of public bathrooms but not public transit out public libraries. Likewise eccentrics haven't scared me out of Shavian, but open fights have.

This means accepting "๐ข๐ฆ๐" instead of "๐ข๐ฆ๐" and "๐๐จ๐ฃ๐ฆ๐ฃ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐" instead of "๐ฃ๐จ๐๐ฆ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ต๐." I think that's just what you get when you hang out with other weirdos who try new alphabets.
Most everyone finds comfort in clarity and certainly. I get that. But at the end of the Shaw Alphabet edition of "Androcles," the sole transliterator, Peter MacCarthy recommended โ not conforming to HIS spelling choices โ but to the consistency of your own comfort.
@robwords.bsky.social YouTube videos are a fun way to think about everyday written words in a new and novel way. Finding a community devoted to your new-found fun in Shavian should be ... fun. There are those who thrive off of ridicule and striving to please, but that's just not how everyone works.
