Then it's Turco Mohamed & everyone else has been working with their team since March 2025 or more recently.

That Spokane trip lines up with March Madness, and the NCAA told teams "extreme flexibility ... will be necessary" because of a nationwide charter aircraft shortage.
NO TAN PAREJA
I had the idea to do a 'digital cover' for my daily posts during the Gold Cup, but it ended up being a bit too heavy of a lift for someone like me (graphic design is my passion)
Last night, Alejandro Zendejas played a game on U.S. soil for the first time since he scored for the #USMNT vs. Japan.
With two weeks until the last U.S. camp before the World Cup, he says "Iβll be working hard to make that roster":

DeRosa's approach to the job speaks to a lack of understanding about international sports. For Japan, the DR, Venezuela, etc. the pride is in making the team & putting on your country's shirt.
The U.S. tries to set itself apart & comes off with a message about supporting the military or something.
Managers set the tone on these things. They give players the information they need to understand the scenario - whether it's going to be a keyed up crowd because of a national holiday or a scenario in which you need to make sure you win by a certain number of goals/runs/points etc.
I thought very mild-mannered Panama manager Thomas Christiansen was going to jump over the table to rip the mic out of my hands when I said after their second Gold Cup game that they were "into the next round.." before I quickly added "well, not mathematically..."
Orlando Pareja is out in Orlando.

Like his brother Pete, he never loses his cool.
Big Game Bouanga.
23% possession, 6 saves vs 0 for LAFC, 108 passes to LAFC's 407, 1 shot to LAFC's 10, 0 corner kicks, 1 shot on target... 1-0 Liga
38' Big injury concern for AmΓ©rica, and potentially Mexico's national team. Goalkeeper Luis Γngel MalagΓ³n just slipped on the turf in his box and went down in a heap grabing his left ankle.
With kickoff hours away, I've taken on the task of ranking all 16 teams still in the hunt for the Concacaf Champions Cup crown (the CCCC!) - and written a bit about why I put them where I did.
Fun! Check it out! Subscribe and enjoy - not in that order!

Spurs pulling the goalie to get an extra attacker...ah, nope. Nope. It's another GK coming on.
Itβs you!
"While most viewers have become accustomed to Calcaterra's trademark hat, some were unsettled that he wore it inside out, hinting that his hope for a economic rally comes down to superstition rather than policy."

Community is also pretending I used the correct "they're"
Car culture + rushing in for a to-go order doesn't fit in that box, but...it ain't the coffee that's the problem there, pal.
I hang out in coffee shops a lot partly bc their one of few places we still have where you might enjoy a communal experience.
Like, I became friends with a comedian & a motion designer just because we'd see each other. Took a while to go from "Sup man?" to "How's the wife?" but that's community.

I was ready to settle in for an hour and a half, but this is just a short.
Just finished Marty Supreme, the biggest-budget film Iβve ever seen about Olympic sports funding.
Photos today from @hjbosch21.bsky.social, and folks: they're good!
An in-transition Rayados make it a bit of a risk, but it being the ClΓ‘sico Regio makes me inclined to go there.
I'm locked in on both ClΓ‘sicos, but Chivas *should* make easy work of the Atlas back line w/o Rodrigo Schlegel.
Years have gone by and I've finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for one single competitive MLS early kickoff game.
Maxi Moralez has his first assist of the year. Last season, the now-39-year-old told me he hopes to still be playing for #NYCFC when the club opens Etihad Park in 2027. www.mlssoccer.com/news/maxi-mo...
Only thing looking uglier than Orlando City defending a man down right now is that Yankee Stadium grass.
