At one point the creature starts to look like jerma and thatβs when it really clicks that heβs supposed to be a gay theatre kid as well
Additional mechanic: your APM now controls your GPU's fan speed
1000%. I don't remember the names and specifics, but just like with elements, different damage types are effective against different enemy types. If it's serrated (saw cleaver, whip), it deals more damage to beasts. Bolt is helpful against ghost-y enemies and other, more unusual things.
Yo, wanna play Bloodborne sometime?
Playing Civilization and you discover pornography on the tech tree. Leonard Nimoy quotes Homer Simpson flatly. It was a pornography store. I was buying pornography.

Searching for the chime of a resonant bell in Bloodborne
For real, have not been able to stop thinking about it. Made two friends off of it, we all have been tryin different games to scratch the itch and just nothing comes close. I really do want it to succeed, I think they've got something really good going so long as they can follow through.
I know what my custom faceplate will be for the new Steam Cube already
I'd go as far as to say the manga is probably the best way to experience Girls Frontline 1 now if all you want is the story. The art started pretty good and has only gotten better, and it visualizes many elements of the world the game only described in text, like hacking and neural cloud dives
I'd definitely agree with Bloodborne being the best. You can still gleam the significance of places in the Souls games (a religious site, a battlefield, etc) but I think the comparatively modern stylings of Yharnam lets you intuit a lot more about what was going on in any given locale.
After trying both, I really dunno about Arc anymore. Wasn't a fan of the guns, and the healing felt particularly annoying.
Without going into particular details, I went from cautiously optimistic about Marathon to basically addicted. It's just up to Bungie to follow through, which is, y'know.
Orange, the overlay/highlight Batou has in his vision for doors and blood and whatnot, oh yeah. I ran group of people through it, HR fans in particular, and they had to double check the release date because of how mindblown they were. Call me crazy, I miss the filter on HR's re-release.
Batou from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, doing his best Ron Perlman frown.
Ron Perlman in Pacific Rim, doing his best Batou frown.
i think about this at least once a week
Running multiple social media accounts at once doesn't seem easy, hahaπ
This is a new OC I created. He's currently a high-ranking official in a country, but before that, he was a wild beast.
Busr of a skull, engulfed in water that forms and takes shape of a woman's face and hair in turning waves like curles. Barnicles and coral grow from the skull, and a pearl is in place of their eyes.
Pearl of the ocean floor,
For now, free to explore,
But remember, vow,
Return thy shall

Dinergate racing, glizzy-eating contest, I don't even remember everything that happened in this session
I'm just gonna put up all the wacky highlights in here, there's too many to go through
Like dawg in what other medium are you gonna see HK416 about to get eaten by Pac-Man, more GFL fans need to get in on this
Digging through my tabletop folders for Girls Frontline stuff and rediscovering this gem from an April Fool's game
My main tabletop group has been running GFL tabletop for years now, they really do work great. A few Arknights campaigns and taken bits and pieces from all sorts of other games for our mad experiments, too. Punishing Gray Raven was one I was trying to get off the ground for a while.
"Drip drop, drip drop" now has a whole new malefic context to it, I won't be able to talk to that one NPC without losing it
I always caught this vibe from it early on, doubly so with certain friends I know who were really deep into it before release. I wasn't super impressed with the demo either talking on the game itself, it just felt like an unpolished EYE mod or somethin.
I don't know whether I'm fortunate or not that I've yet to see a post about Micolash having a cage in more ways than one, Miyazaki truly knows his audience
I actually didn't know that with the scaling, huh. To this day, I still don't understand all the mechanics behind the chalice dungeons. Every few years I come back and learn a little more, it's great. Just wish I could find some people to play with.
Chalice dungeons are a great way to get a lotta spare materials and souls/echoes too, definitely keep checking back in the more ritual chalices and materials you get. The first one you get feels really boring, but they can get really crazy. Lotta enemies and bosses exclusive to it, too.
Replaying Bloodborne for the nth time to astrally project the remake/PC port into the front of Miyazaki's brain
Wish I could find some people to run through it with, I've only run into two other people so far
