Booktello, which is a frontend for Librario so users can search for information about books, and Booklary, a book and reading tracking application.
Not sure I got this right, but if I did, Librario is not a book, but a project about books. It’s a way to get data about books (title, genres, moods, content warnings, etc) for developers building book applications.
We also have an #irc channel on libera.chat now, #librario. It’s IRC and a small project, so don’t expect much activity, but it should be a nice place to hang and chat about #books and the project.

As of last night, the public build of Librario officially supports getting #book metadata from #Goodreads, in addition to the other sources.

Apps that get DNS verification functionality wrong really cause a lot of pain for their users.
Having explained the problem a number of times, I finally decided to write it down so now I can just share a link.
Same goes for the website, the design is mostly done, just need to polish the typography. Been on my todo list for a week already.
I have written a #Goodreads #book metadata extractor for Librario days ago, but still haven’t been able to polish and write tests for it because come sleep time, the baby has been very fussy.
Being a dad isn’t compatible with having side projects, it seems 🤔
