and I'm sorry for your loss, you fought hard for him & he was loved the best you could give him. all he knew was your love, comfort & warmth. you were there till the very end for him & he knew it. he was happy & loved you.
it might feel like things are stacking & compounding but shake that off (the cold water helps) & stick to your daily routine. let yourself cry & be emotional as it comes naturally. try to do extra things to treat yourself, to mitigate anxiety. light exercise while watching TV helps distract too...
take your time, in every sense of that phrase. make sure you're eating & drinking enough. if you start to spiral, splash your face with cold water & think about how cold it feels until you've reset. and always prioritize the good memories.
