So the person that checked my dryer vent (yearly thing), the dumb MFer changed it to air fluff (no heat) so this morning I woke up to cold wet clothes

lesson learned I guess

I once scored the plate of my Centauri Carbon by not fully tightening the screws holding the bed in place, so it was up higher than expected when the toolhead homed...

honestly it's kind of offensive to me that they add more height than an AMS and then make you put the spools on the outside lol.

there's probably some reason for the height. My Flashforge Creator Pro did the same thing. filament feeding ease?

OOF. A friend of mine warned me of that when giving me his old resin printer lol, told me to take it off before putting it in the car.

I know I can buy replacement LCDs for my Saturn 4 Ultra, maybe you can for yours? They're considered a consumable part.

you'd be surprised what you can do with a 0.2mm nozzle, 0.1mm layer heights, and other settings in regards to using FDM to print miniatures

Hmm. are you able to level it lower to compensate for this, and then use Z axis offset in the slicer?

I once completely broke an Elegoo hotend by forgetting there was still a print on the bed. It stabbed down into it (flat, a whistle), then went across, scoring a deep slash across the others, and broke the thing off the heat sink XD

because I guess the PLA print stuck that well XD

holy hell. and yeah that's the thing that sounded craziest to me, unable to level one corner of the bed o.O

the other day a part somersaulted off the bed as I removed it and went right into an opening like Larry Bird himself shot it in there. I don't know what's back there but I was paranoid for the longest time I needed to take it apart to find it XD

there is basically no documentation for @elegoo.bsky.social Satellite. Finally found how to get their resin profiles. Been home an hour and a half and still not printing. For SOME reason it isn't showing a print time estimate and I have absolutely no idea why
