"Chain of Command, Part II" is still a tough watch at times, more than thirty years later. However, it's one of the strongest episodes produced by the franchise up to that point.

As disturbing as Madred’s treatment is of Picard, my head canon is his career was destroyed by his failure to break Picard or get any useful information from him. Cardassian Central Command isn’t very forgiving of those who disappoint them. #TNGSunNight
