Had the fun of giving the scary cockatiel at work medicine yesterday. This bird hates everyone. I don't really blame it, we're big and scary and it doesn't feel good. It hisses and bites and makes dinosaur sounds. Have to burrito it to give it meds. It did like the medicine though at least.

So i say you know what I'm just gonna go to the actual bank tomorrow, I'm not comfortable with giving you this code. And he's like Nooooo your account is going to get drained!!! And I'm like well that sucks but I'm gonna go to the actual bank. Instantly hangs up. I'm so pissed at this point

The legit text s like NEVER give this code to anyone and I'm like hey it says that, soooo. And the scammer is like oh that's outdated we're working to change that. And I'm like ':( really now.

Goes into a whole thing about charges in Florida and I'm like that's not me. They get more info out of me than i ought to have given and get to the point where my actual bank has texted me that log in code and they ask for that. D:

But like what happened was i got a text from "my bank" asking if some charge was me. I've gotten legit texts like this before. I answer no. Then my bank calls me (scammer with a spoofed number)

I never mentioned it because I was too angry and embarrassed but man i almost got scammed back in December. It's so obvious in hindsight but at the time i was tired and overworked and stressed so whoops

I bought a jimson weed plant because I like the flowers they make and it's legal to do so here. They attract pollinators! (big ass moths)

oh no I bought a bunch of plants, it's spring outside. The bluebonnets and mountain laurel are blooming. That pleases me immensely.
