Not an economist, forgot everything I learned in intro micro and macro, so beyond not investing safe haven assets in TIPS, are there alternative safe investments that I should consider to offset existing but not acknowledged inflation? Precious metals?

I feel like "to stay informed" you would have to have subscriptions to 15+ papers/online news sources. So the shear breadth is daunting.
Plus, you have to look at it as the value add after reading the headline. I would say only 1 out of 3 times I feel that I left the article feeling that enriched

I totally get that Europe cannot currently produce munitions at the same rate as Russia, and they would be completely reliant on a now unreliable US in a conventional war. So there’s added hesitation to act. But you gotta do something to keep Putin from sleeping well at night
