Wouldn’t object to that either. I actually think Murphy’s crossing super valuable and he’s not slow.

I’m staying positive until we’re knocked out. Team did us proud last night and can do again.
He takes the ball on the turn in midfield really well. Looks a good player. Great signing.
Good with his feet though, which is important for a keeper these days and has managed the odd goal. Always a bonus when even the keeper is a goal threat.
Yeah this is the only thing. Murphy’s ability to whip the ball in is a serious threat. No good exploiting the high line and having no end product. Elanga played well but needs to know when and how to cross.
Ramsdale
Thiaw. Botman. Burn
Murphy. Hall
Ramsey. Tonali Joe
Woltemade Gordon
I’m a big Murphy fan. Elanga played well but I was screaming for Murphy. Knew his crossing ability would cause problems. So it proved. He may go 5 at the back with Murphy as wing back.
I always like my food ‘quite’ palatable.
Quite it’s garbage.
Yup. Pretty obvious.
He scored in the 6th minute of 4 minutes of added time. I’m just sick of the corruption. It was obvious from early on. The failure to book Yamal for the body check on Hall makes no sense any other way. He should be suspended for the second leg. He isn’t.
More likely he’s well aware that Barcelona can’t go out in the last 16 if he wants to get awarded big games to referee. We all know why he didn’t book Yamal. No chance that was an honest decision.
Ref is going to be a big problem. I’m sure whoever it is will understand that they need to make sure the right team makes it through if they want to be trusted with big games in the future.
It was about 30 seconds after the 4 minutes were up.
Olmo was on the pitch for about 10 minutes. He spent about 9 of those minutes falling over. Yes there’s contact but it’s so innocuous. It’s clear he decides to fall down. I don’t think for a moment it gets given at the other end.
Wouldn’t matter. Ref would have happily played 15 minutes if necessary.
Left his leg out. Ran into it. Fell over. What the idiots in commentary call clever.
Would never have been given at the other end. Ref couldn’t blow fast enough. Touched him yes. Trip? Don’t think so. Threw himself to the ground.
And there’s just outright corruption. I know what i think.
Thiaw touched him but was a blatant dive.
Yes. Clearly fix was in said it early on. Ref was always going to play until they scored.
Can’t have Barcelona knocked out at this stage.
And now no booking for Yamal, who would be banned for the next game.
And now the yellow card for Tonali.
A couple of bad offside decisions and that free kick just given against Big Joe make me think the fix is in for this game.
Yes. Much better player than people think.
Cross field ball from Burn in that build up was superb.
He didn’t say please.
That and raw pace.
It’s like Christmas as a kid. Hope the players are feeling the same. Chance to make history.
