A compiler is deterministic and runs on my machine. Some company cannot ban me from using a compiler.
To me there’s just a fundamental difference in outsourcing the understanding of code I’m responsible for and tools that just help with the mechanics of things like deployment.
And when Claude goes down do you just wait around while things are broken?
What about maintenance? Who fixes all these features when they break when there are 10x as many as before?
How will you debug your service when Claude is having an outage at the same time you’re having a production outage?
Took me 6 months, multiple calls, and an email to my Congressional representative to figure out the minor error that kept the IRS from sending me my refund. It also took several phone calls to sort out a health insurance issue I knew the insurance company was wrong about.
When is the Appeals Court case supposed to be decided?
I just love dealing with Health Insurance claim denials. I especially love explaining exactly why the denial is invalid and the claim needs to be run again over and over
