Brian Wilson has been a hero and inspiration ever since I was old enough to understand the songs I love so much were created by actual people. I can go on for many pages and paragraphs about what exactly I admire about his music—and perhaps one day I will—but for now I’m just going to mourn. RIP

Been listening to Beach Boys tonight in honor of Brian Wilson. Sonically, "Good Vibrations" is still one of the coolest songs ever and I feel like it must have been absolutely mind blowing when it came out in 1966. "Music can sound... like this?"
