When I moved to NYC, I went from only having met a few southerners in my life to so many just through the PR agency I worked at

Oh yeah, being born into a slave society somehow justified the actions of the master class. Well, it's awful to us today but it was common back then. Only abolitionists opposed it. Even northern Republicans felt that way - for a while anyway. #hatm
