So it was weird gap inbetween when I picked modeling back up for gamedev again.

Thanks! Yeah I realized that too just right now. Felt like it was longer tbh. Though there was a period where I stop for a while to code an OpenGL renderer (technical a game engine, but there was no game so it was really just very fancy boids simulator lmao) so I didn't touch 3D for a while.

Gonna do my very first PS2-like model too at some point as I found her too. Going to use same restrictions as well, but saving that for I have more time, and plus mannn it was rough haha. Will be a fun side by side tho :)

Very happy I saved this model so I can see how things improved since then. That said, man my topology was very bad, and basically didn't even need a texture sheet that big haha. Glad I didn't quit tho. Stuff has def improved since then, and I got a lot of room to keep learning too.

Found my very first lowpoly character model of mine I made like 1.5 years ago + moodboard while digging through my folders for comm stuffs.

For fun I'm gonna try to remake her using her current tris budget + texture map (866 tris, 256x256px) to what I originally had in mind given off the board
