Property tax limits may sound good in theory — but they come at a real cost to your community.
🏡 Even less affordable housing
🏢 Cuts to essential public services
💰 Higher fines and fees to make up lost revenue
Property taxes are crucial for funding local services — so why are NC lawmakers trying to impose tax limits that would end up harming local communities?
The #NCGA has repeatedly shown us that they do not plan to listen to our community priorities and include our demands in the state budget.
It’s time for lawmakers to be accountable and uphold a well-being budget process that ensures our voices are heard!
