(Gen 1 Landor-I mean Dodrio continues its campaign of fear in the unprepared Gen 1 landscape. Ground/Flying is just loaded with useful resists and immunities in the Gen 1 landscape. Moves are Drill Peck, Earthquake, Twinneedle, and Strength.)

(This silly bug tried to learn another Fire type move by level up. Unfortunately, Fire isn't all that great an offensive typing in Gen 1. Fortunately, Venomoth has Sleep Powder and a good movepool. Moves are Dream Eater, Sleep Powder, Leech Life, and Sludge)
(Sleep Powder is helping Venusaur out a lot, as is getting Earthquake in Silph Co. It still dies to the random Bug type move, but that's just the life of a Grass/Poison type in Gen 1. Moves are Earthquake, Sleep Powder, Siphon Snag, and Razor Leaf.)
(I mean, what do you expect from Starmie? It's incredible and getting it so early really cements how amazing it is when it has a game's worth of stat EXP to get. I had Recover on it at one point, but its moveset is Psychic, Surf, Ice Beam, and Thunderbolt)
(Raichu continues to be solid. It can run physical moves, but the special movepool is where it's at. Raichu's really just been solid all game, it was quite unexpected. Moves are Thunderbolt, Surf, Thunder Wave, and Ice Punch)
(I added Ninetales to the team because Mankey was underperforming. Fire/Ghost is a common type change in romhacks for Ninetales, and it does really well here. Pixy swept Sabrina with a 10 level deficit. Moves are Amnesia, Psychic, Barrage, and Flamethrower.)
(Sabrina's toast. Let's see how the members are faring.)
(If anything, setting up multiplayer Moemon has been a headache for me and Bean)
Mekky-Moo
Heads up, we got another plague on our hands! Thankfully it's not an of bot.. but it's a scam bot under the guise of a family in need.
Please be safe and do not fall for this scam.
(It's that Pure Red romhack, I'll be here for the time being I think?)
A yawn escapes from Wendy. It's been so nice to relax after all the chaos lately.
"Mhm. From my understanding, the continents shift with the movement of the Earth's crust. So the world at one point in history might look different than another point in time."
(Dodrio is Ground/Flying in this game, and it is extremely good all game. Super fast, hits hard, so who cares that its flimsy. Most Pokemon in this game have a decently varied movepool, so having a good defensive type is really important. Moveset is Drill Peck, Rolling Kick, Dig, and Tri Attack.)
(Venomoth has been crazy good so far. It has a bit of a rough start, but Level 20 gives it 75BP Leech Life and then it just snowballs. This silly thing gets a Fire type move for some reason. Just been a really reliable bug. Current set is Leech Life, Sleep Powder, Sludge, and Wing Attack)
(Venusaur has been rough. The buff to Bug type moves has made a lot of matchups that seem easy suddenly turn into 'does this have a Bug type move, if so then Venusaur dies to 4x damage'. It currently has Siphon Snag, Razor Leaf, Filthy Slam, and Sleep Powder.)
(Starmie's Starmie. Very fast, super diverse movepool (this dude gets 60BP Mega Drain in this game!), and doesn't really suffer from any of the Bug type buffs thanks to it outspeeding. Set is Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Bubblebeam, and Recover right now.)
(Role call, btw. Raichu's been impressing so far. Karate Chop on a fast Pokemon feels really nice when given the Fighting type thanks to Gen 1 mechanics. Current set is Thunderbolt, Ice Punch, Thunder Wave, and Karate Chop.)
(Erika got a bit of a glow up. She's still fairly easy, but her Victreebel and Vileplume gave me a little scare for poor Venomoth.)
(I imagine Koei Tecmo is the reason behind Conquest, despite the good working relationship the company seems to have with the Big N, but Sky's an enigma. Like, I can only imagine Red Rescue Team was a safer game to port given its themes are a lot lighter in comparison?)
(One of the few Pokemon games to legit make me cry. Black came close, but Sky managed to get the tears flowing.)
//Can absolutely vouch for Explorers of Sky. My personal favorite Pokemon spinoff (aside from Puzzle League :P).
(Also if you're going to play one Pokemon spinoff game, let it either be Explorers of Sky or Pokemon Conquest, both are peak.)
"Ransei is a hypothetical landmass that existed in the ancient past. It's said that at one point in time, all of the world's continents were formed into a supercontinent called Ransei."
Nerd powers activate.
(Keep...keep workin' on it buddy.
He's trying a battle cry out...)
(This hack added a Channeler to the hotel who talks about it. If you say you used it, she attacks you-)
(Hehehe, it's still here~ Gotta love Gen 1)
(Saaaame! I've been listening to the OST from the first game lately, it's the one I grew up with. Flame Leo was the name of it iirc?)
(Gotta love Great Shield messing with your plans.)
(I think the Pokemon community might be quieting down a little bit since Z-A's DLC is a month or so old. That being said, I'm always open to chat if you want someone to talk to!)
