Yep my first strata had people who wouldn't pay for anything. The place was starting to fall apart - and you knew it was bad when both the president of the strata (me) and the treasurer sold at the same time and got the heck out of dodge.
My strata is estimating a full roof replacement in 2029. It's looking to cost each owner ~$19k and that is a heck of a lot of money but I am so glad to live in a strata that is pro-active and cares about the building. We're not one of the most desireable buildings in the West End for nothing. 👍

March 6th is always an out-of-sorts day for me. Today it marks 8 years since my first cancer surgery and, after visitors had left, was the lonelinest night of my life. I am super glad that I didn't know what was still to come. So grateful to have it all in the rearview mirror. 💞
