We have the solutions. Powering a bunch of AI with methane (natural gas) is a known path to climate destruction.
I think anyone who thinks AI is a climate solution or that carbon sequestration is a climate solution is engaged in magical thinking.

Overall, China and India are using less coal. But they both have domestic coal reserves they can use which are cheaper and less dependent on the whim's of Trump/Putin/Netanyahu than imported LNG. So they keep that option open.
